Most Likely To… Book Tag

The Character Most Likely too... (1)Hello every one!

I wasn’t actually personally tagged, Louise@GenieReads was and basically tagged every one and I decided to accept the challenge, because I liked it a lot! You can click here to read her post. Thank you Louise for participating and spreading the fun! 🙂 Also, you should check her blog for more, because it is wonderful!

Rules / Instructions

  1. Put 18 book characters into a jar and shake it up.
  2. Have the first three most likely to… categories ready. Pick three names from the jar and apply them to the first three categories.
  3. Keep going until you have none left!

ROUND 1

Who’s most likely to…

  1. Have kids first
  2. Cry at a movie
  3. Get arrested

The Characters: Lauren Holbrook from Hidden Fires, Ira Levinson from The Longest Ride and Liesel Meminger from The Book Thief

Lauren will definitely have kids first, because 1. she is a young married women and ahm.. I’m not going to spoil the book 2. she lives in the 19th century, which is long before the other two were born.
Ira is going to cry at a movie, because men cry at movies too, especially if they watch Fast & Furious (7).
Liesel will definitely get arrested, because she lived in Nazi Germany and she was stealing books.

ROUND 2

Who’s most likely to…

  1. Become a crazy cat lady/man
  2. Become a multi-millionaire
  3. Start knitting as a hobby

The Characters: Sherlock Holmes, Bilbo Baggins from The Hobbit and Grenouille from Perfume: The Story of a Murderer

Sherlock will become a crazy cat man, because he’s a high-functioning sociopath and he’ll need company after Watson leaves him.
Grenouille will become a multi-millionaire with the help of his perfumery skills.
Bilbo will start knitting as a hobby, because he’s old, bored and most probably Gandalf won’t take him on a trip again.

ROUND 3

Who’s most likely to…

  1. Be a closet nerd
  2. Become an actor/actress
  3. Fall down the stairs

The Characters: Scout Finch from To Kill a Mockingbird, Lucy Pevensie from The Chronicles of Narnia and Ram Mohammad Thomas from Slumdog Millionaire

Hard choice…. I would say the nerd would be Scout; we only knew her when she was small, so maybe she will become one when she grows up.
Lucy would become an actress with the help of her experiences gained in Narnia.
Ram will fall down the stairs, because he might be clumsy (?) or drunk (?)

ROUND 4

Who’s most likely to…

  1. Collect that many books they have a personal library
  2. Win the Hunger Games
  3. Be tumblr famous

The Characters: Damon Salvatore from The Vampire Diaries, Christopher Boone from The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time and Robert Langdon from Angels & Demons.

Christopher will probably collect a lot of books, because of having Asperger syndrome. He’s also very smart and introvert.
Damon would totally win the Hunger Games, because he’s a vampire.
Robert would be tumblr famous with his symbolistic knowledge; I’d definitely follow him.

ROUND 5

Who’s most likely to…

  1. Go through a goth phase
  2. Have a one night stand
  3. Go to comic con

The Characters: Edward Cullen from Twilight, Romeo Montague from Romeo and Juliet, Hanna Schmitz from The Reader.

(Sorry Twilight fans) Edward will be going through a goth phase (or he did already).
Hanna would be having a one night stand, because she doesn’t really get attached to people.
Romeo would go to comic con, but I can’t decide which comic would be his reason.

ROUND 6

Who’s most likely to…

  1. Get married
  2. Have a cool mug collection
  3. Be a night owl (stays awake most of the night)

The Characters: Augustus Water from The Fault in our Stars, Voldemort from Harry Potter and Willy Wonka from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory

THIS is a hard choice… for Augustus there would an obvious easy choice, but then I’m left with two men that don’t fit the other 2 scenarios. I’ll say he would get married first, since he’s the one with the highest chances of ever finding somebody. Wonka would own a cool mug collections and probably invent some really crazy ones. Voldemort would be a night owl, because he’s not actually a man and doesn’t need sleep at all.

This was really fun, although my luck failed me and didn’t get to make some really funny questions. Putting that aside I’d like to nominate the following people:

Mikaela @itsmemikaelaKelly @mynameisnotkatieSheri @readinaflashGretchen @chicnerdreads, Shannon @ClockworkBibliophileMia, Lynette and Vibha @geekyfangirls, Diana @nighttrainbooks and YOU!

Two unlucky children of these enemy families become lovers and take their own lives. Their unfortunate deaths put an end to their parents’ feud. For the next two hours, we will watch the story of their doomed love and their parents’ anger, which nothing but the children’s deaths could stop. Mercutio: He hears not. He stirs not. He moves not. The ape is dead! But I will make him appear.

Every one has heard about Romeo and Juliet. I picked this book for my English class, as we are reading the original play and it’s hard to understand. No Fear Shakespeare is such an easy and wonderful read all I can do is recommend others to read it. 🙂

Seven Books I Picked Up On A Whim

Friday 56Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. (you should definitely check them out)

This week’s theme actually represents me, since most of the books I own have been bought without thorough thought. The ones I chose are some of those that also bare a story. Here we go! ( Note: the order doesn’t play any role and I haven’t yet read the books, so I can’t say to much about the story. Also, if you click on the name, you’ll be sent to the its Goodreads page)

Sharp Objects by Gillian Flynn

I was at the book store because I was looking for The Girl on the Train, which I’ve literally passed by like a 1000 times and finally decided to buy it. There was a “3 for 2” promotion for books from just one publishing house and the second book I chose was Paper Towns, which I knew “a little” about. For the third pick it took me like 10 min to decide. I don’t remember how much I looked into Sharp Objects before buying it. Honestly I was convinced by the cool cover that it was worth it. I can’t wait to read it. (Feel free to tell me your opinions on it, if you read it 🙂 )

Mistress of the Art of Death by Ariana Franklin

Deep Storm by Lincoln Child

I put this 2 books together because the have a similar story. Once upon a time I used to actually go into “real” book stores and look for books, instead of ordering them online. Normally I’d look for more vampire books (I still have a “thing” for them) and end up buying an extra book which appealed to me. On my Mistress of the Art of Death edition is written “Crime, suspicion and revenge in Cambridge, in the Middle Ages.” + the cover = I’m totally buying this. As for Deep Storm, I skimmed its synopsis and came across the word “Atlantis” and that’s why I bought it.

Perfume: The Story of a Murderer by Patrick Süskind

This is the only exception from this list, because I did read it and I LOVED it. I knew nothing about it before I bought it from a book fair in the seventh grade.

Me Before You by Jojo Moyes

I mentioned before that I watched the movie trailer and 10 min later I bought the book, so I’d say I bought it on a whim, without knowing “too much”.

Juliet by Anne Fortier

A couple of weeks ago I found a German website for second-hand books and I really loved it, because they offer free shipping if you buy books for at least 10€. So I was looking for a book in my school library and saw this beauty. I’m reading Romeo and Juliet in my English class and that’s why I was convinced I want to read this book too. I also read the synopsis, but knew nothing more.

The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern

Last but not least. Shout-out to Shannon at ClockworkBibliophile who mentioned this book a while ago on her blog. Only read the synopsis and bought it almost instantly. Thank you Shannon <3! I can’t wait to read it!

So… I gave 7 instead of 10 books, because these are the ones that are almost at the top of my TBR list that fitted the description. I hope I got you interested and I wish you a wonderful week(end)!
