The Sunshine Blogger Award

It is always very overwhelming whenever I am being nominated for an award so thank you Diana @Night Train To Zurich for nominating me. You should definitely check out her blog immediately!

1. Which is your favourite fairytale?
Over the past few years I’ve been revisiting a couple of my childhood favourite fairytales and I started seeing all the things that simply make no sense, which lead to me not liking them as much anymore. I hope one day I’ll find my love for them again. One that I fell in love with easily and never stopped loving, is The Ugly Duckling.

2. You can choose any character to go to a concert with (as a friend, as a sibling, as a date, whatever). Who would you choose and what concert would you go to?
Of course I had to choose my perfect book date/ book boyfriend, Damon Salvatore from The Vampire Diaries.

3. Do you have any quirks (movements you do a lot, or something you do when you’re nervous…)?
I bite my nails when I’m nervous, but I’m trying to switch to pens.

4. Is there a movie that you enjoyed more than the book it was based on?
The Hobbit. I can watch action-adventure movies with no problem, but when it comes to reading them ughhh. I find fighting senses so boring, long and annoying in books. Maybe when I’ll give the book another try I’ll like it more.

5.  When it comes to books, do you prefer an open ending or one where everything is resolved?
Both. I’m a wanna-know-it-all kind of person and a book where everything is resolved is perfect for me, but sometimes I do like an open ending and enjoy the pleasure of continuing the story the way I want.

6. Favourite ice-cream flavour?
Chocolate.

7. If you could bring back one TV Show from your childhood which would it be?
There are a few that cross my mind (Life with Louie, Dennis the Menace, What’s with Andy?), but the one I’d love to see again is Bad Dog.

8. A book a lot of people didn’t like but you did?
I cannot give an answer as I haven’t read that many books. I can’t even think of a book “a lot of people didn’t like”.

9. Rainy or sunny days?
Depends on whether I want to read outside. If I don’t it doesn’t matter.

10. What did you want to become (job-wise) when you were a kid?
An archaeologist and then a doctor.

11. Favourite book friendship (two or more people)?
Harry, Ron and Hermione.

My Questions:

  1. What Hogwarts house are you in?
  2. What Ilvermorny house are you in?
  3. Have you read Harry Potter and The Cursed Child already or planning to?
  4. Is there a book you own more than one copy of?
  5. What kind of book or movie related merchandise do you own?
  6. If you could have personally witnessed anything, what would you want to have seen?
  7. What’s your favourite TV show?
  8. What’s your favourite movie?
  9. If you could be any book character who would you be and why?
  10. What do you look at first: the book cover or the blurb?
  11. Which book should everyone read?

Most Likely To… Book Tag

The Character Most Likely too... (1)Hello every one!

I wasn’t actually personally tagged, Louise@GenieReads was and basically tagged every one and I decided to accept the challenge, because I liked it a lot! You can click here to read her post. Thank you Louise for participating and spreading the fun! 🙂 Also, you should check her blog for more, because it is wonderful!

Rules / Instructions

  1. Put 18 book characters into a jar and shake it up.
  2. Have the first three most likely to… categories ready. Pick three names from the jar and apply them to the first three categories.
  3. Keep going until you have none left!

ROUND 1

Who’s most likely to…

  1. Have kids first
  2. Cry at a movie
  3. Get arrested

The Characters: Lauren Holbrook from Hidden Fires, Ira Levinson from The Longest Ride and Liesel Meminger from The Book Thief

Lauren will definitely have kids first, because 1. she is a young married women and ahm.. I’m not going to spoil the book 2. she lives in the 19th century, which is long before the other two were born.
Ira is going to cry at a movie, because men cry at movies too, especially if they watch Fast & Furious (7).
Liesel will definitely get arrested, because she lived in Nazi Germany and she was stealing books.

ROUND 2

Who’s most likely to…

  1. Become a crazy cat lady/man
  2. Become a multi-millionaire
  3. Start knitting as a hobby

The Characters: Sherlock Holmes, Bilbo Baggins from The Hobbit and Grenouille from Perfume: The Story of a Murderer

Sherlock will become a crazy cat man, because he’s a high-functioning sociopath and he’ll need company after Watson leaves him.
Grenouille will become a multi-millionaire with the help of his perfumery skills.
Bilbo will start knitting as a hobby, because he’s old, bored and most probably Gandalf won’t take him on a trip again.

ROUND 3

Who’s most likely to…

  1. Be a closet nerd
  2. Become an actor/actress
  3. Fall down the stairs

The Characters: Scout Finch from To Kill a Mockingbird, Lucy Pevensie from The Chronicles of Narnia and Ram Mohammad Thomas from Slumdog Millionaire

Hard choice…. I would say the nerd would be Scout; we only knew her when she was small, so maybe she will become one when she grows up.
Lucy would become an actress with the help of her experiences gained in Narnia.
Ram will fall down the stairs, because he might be clumsy (?) or drunk (?)

ROUND 4

Who’s most likely to…

  1. Collect that many books they have a personal library
  2. Win the Hunger Games
  3. Be tumblr famous

The Characters: Damon Salvatore from The Vampire Diaries, Christopher Boone from The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time and Robert Langdon from Angels & Demons.

Christopher will probably collect a lot of books, because of having Asperger syndrome. He’s also very smart and introvert.
Damon would totally win the Hunger Games, because he’s a vampire.
Robert would be tumblr famous with his symbolistic knowledge; I’d definitely follow him.

ROUND 5

Who’s most likely to…

  1. Go through a goth phase
  2. Have a one night stand
  3. Go to comic con

The Characters: Edward Cullen from Twilight, Romeo Montague from Romeo and Juliet, Hanna Schmitz from The Reader.

(Sorry Twilight fans) Edward will be going through a goth phase (or he did already).
Hanna would be having a one night stand, because she doesn’t really get attached to people.
Romeo would go to comic con, but I can’t decide which comic would be his reason.

ROUND 6

Who’s most likely to…

  1. Get married
  2. Have a cool mug collection
  3. Be a night owl (stays awake most of the night)

The Characters: Augustus Water from The Fault in our Stars, Voldemort from Harry Potter and Willy Wonka from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory

THIS is a hard choice… for Augustus there would an obvious easy choice, but then I’m left with two men that don’t fit the other 2 scenarios. I’ll say he would get married first, since he’s the one with the highest chances of ever finding somebody. Wonka would own a cool mug collections and probably invent some really crazy ones. Voldemort would be a night owl, because he’s not actually a man and doesn’t need sleep at all.

This was really fun, although my luck failed me and didn’t get to make some really funny questions. Putting that aside I’d like to nominate the following people:

Mikaela @itsmemikaelaKelly @mynameisnotkatieSheri @readinaflashGretchen @chicnerdreads, Shannon @ClockworkBibliophileMia, Lynette and Vibha @geekyfangirls, Diana @nighttrainbooks and YOU!
