I haven’t presented my results last month because of the writer’s block and everything, so today I’m doing it for two months (I bet you got that from the title already anyway).

But let us focus on this month first. I know the rules say I have to read books with a dark blue cover, but since I didn’t participate in March (light blue) I might read some books that are a bit lighter. I already read Quidditch Through The Ages (today) and the rest I’m hoping to finish my the end of this month.

July Results:

As you can see I’m so lazy I post the same picture twice ‘sigh’. In July I read all the books bellow except from ACOTAR and The Bat, which I see as a success.

August Results:

As for August I can’t say it was a success, because I’ve been away for 3 weeks and couldn’t take my bookshelves with me ‘sigh’. From the 3 books I read in total, one has slight bright green coloration.

This month is going to be stressful for me; next week I’ll be in Croatia, after that one week home and then two weeks in Romania. It’s not stressful, it’s holiday, but I’m not certain how and what exactly I’ll be reading this month. I picked 4 books to take with me to Croatia (I know that might seem too much, but I’ll have two 14 hours bus rides and I’ll need something to occupy me) as for Romania, I’m taking me e-book reader with me, which means I might just finally read Divergent or The Hunger Games. I’m really not looking forward to buy any books, as (in case you’ve noticed) I bought a lot of books in the past few months. On my wishlist this month: 1. Don’t pay a cent for any book 2. Hopefully read at least 5 books. (I realise ACOTAR is not brown, but I  have to take this book to Romania for my best friend to read, which means I might get around reading it too)IMG_1410-001.JPG

June Results:

I am so happy that I read 4 books for this challenge and 8 in total! I wish this month I’ll have just as much success.

It couldn’t have an easiest colour! I’ve found a bunch of books with a white cover on my shelves, but because I’m kind of lazy I will take pictures from the internet.

This is all I could find in 5 minutes, so there might still be some books with a white cover that I haven’t found yet.

As for the results for May I’m glad to say I read all 3 books I planned to read and 2 other books, one for the April Challenge (yellow) and one for the March Challenge (light blue). At the end of the year it wouldn’t count to the whole Challenge because of the second rule, but I wanted to do it for myself as well as to shorten my TBR list.

At first I thought I actually don’t have any books with a dark green cover (I didn’t take HP: The Half-Blood Prince and Inkspell into consideration, since both of them belong to series and none of them is the first novel). After thorough search I found out I own at least 3 dark green books. Considering that last month I planned to read 4 and ended up with only one, this month I just want to read 2 and I’ll be happy.IMG_1171.JPG
There is not much I can say about the first book. The second book, I looked it up, and apparently hasn’t been translated in any language (it’s Romanian by the way). It’s called “Legends of Olymp” and it is the first volume entitled Gods (the second one is called Heroes). Confession: I was supposed to read this in the summer break of 2011. The third book is the Romanian version of “After The Funeral”.

As for the results of my April Cover Color Challenge… well… you know… I only achieved one. ‘one is better than none’ ‘hurray’. I decided that in the coming months I’ll try to read at least one extra book, besides the challenge, that would have fitted a previous month. Mainly I’ll focus on January to March, since there are a few red, purple and light blue books I could get off my TBR list.

I’ve been searching through my shelves to find suitable books and for now I only found 4, but I’m searching for more. Hopefully at the end of the month I’ll be able to say, that I’d found at least one more 😀 . Here are my yellow books, which I hope to read this month:
